I went to a "French Market" sale today and had a lovely time shopping for little bits of this and that to use in my scrapbooks and card making. I found some vintage fuschia flowers that will be lovely on one of my daughter's scrapbook pages. I also found some Parisian wrapping papers that will make gorgeous cards. I love to store my embellishments in tins and was thrilled when I found a beautiful floral tin from Holland. I picked up some vintage buttons and crystals. The buttons will probably get used on a scrapbook page or a card... and the crystals...I don't know yet, but I'm sure I'll find something that needs adorning!! I also found three very pretty floral handkerchiefs. Someday I want to make a quilt with all of the vintage handkerchiefs I have collected. I also got to meet Father Dominic of PBS's Breaking Bread! I just had to buy two of his cookbooks for my husband, who loved to watch the tv program. It was a lot of fun and I found a lot of inspiration in seeing how other people use their imaginations and talents to transform ordinary objects into keepsakes....
