December Calendar Pages for Graphic 45 Place in Time

These are the pages we made for the Graphic 45 Place in Time calendar class at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

For the December title page, cut out the picture of Santa with the children. Center it on the "December" page.  Cut a small portion of the "Happy Holidays" border and adhere across upper left hand corner of the Santa picture, as shown.  Using the felt snowflake included in your kit, apply some adhesive to the back of the snowflake and adhere it  to the lower right corner of the Santa picture. I did a little fussy cutting around the "A happy Christmas to you" chipboard because it was not centered correctly on my chipboard.  I inked the edges to conceal the cut side. I used double-sided tape to adhere it to the felt snowflake.

For the December calendar page, cut out the December title and mat it on the green strip of paper in your kit.  Adhere it to the center of the blank calendar page. Adhere a green doily from your kit over each swirl that is printed on the calendar page.  Add the Christmas tree epoxy embellishment in the center of each doily.

Cut out the tree border and adhere it approximately .25 inch away from the top of your green card stock. Adhere the photo mats as shown.  Cut out the December "list" and adhere it about 1 inch away from the right side of the green card stock. This is so you have enough room for the snowflake embellishment in the bottom right corner of the list.  Adhere the red snowflake from your kit.  Cut out the Santa stamp with your stamp scissors and use a pop dot to raise it up for some dimension.  Cut out the "Be Merry" and "A Merry Christmas" tags.  Adhere "Be Merry" first, then adhere "A Merry Christmas" at an angle on the right side of "Be Merry". Place a red snowflake from your kit so that it covers a little bit of the left of each tag.  Adhere the "December 25" chipboard tag with double-sided tape.

From your sticker sheet, take the "Merry Christmas" (English only) border and adhere it across the top of your green card stock, about .25 inch away from the top of the page.  Cut out the "Merry Christmas" (many languages) border and adhere it about .25 inch away from the bottom of the page.  Adhere mats as shown. Cut out the "From Santa" and "Swirl" tags, punch out the holes with a hole punch, and tie a simple bow from the sheer ribbon in your kit.  There is enough ribbon for you to also tie a bow on the "Santa in his sleigh" chipboard.  From your sticker kit, adhere the "Dec. 25" sticker in the sky on the "Santa in his sleigh" chipboard.  Use double sided tape to adhere it under the left photo. (I chose to place the chipboard piece at the bottom of the page because the dark colors and thicker material of the chipboard would be too "heavy" if placed above the mat.)  Adhere the two gift tags about the photo mat on the right side of the page.

November Calendar Pages for Graphic 45 Place In Time

Here are the November Calendar Pages made for the Place in Time calendar class held at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

This is the November title page. Cut out the girl making the pie and the "A grateful heart is a joyful heart" strip.  Adhere to the November paper as shown. Using double-sided tape, attach the chipboard pumpkins directly beneath the "grateful heart" strip.  From your class kit, use the green twine to tie a bow in the chipboard Thanksgiving tag.  Use double-sided tape to adhere the tag in the upper left corner of the pie girl  picture.

Cut out the November title strip and adhere it to the center of the blank calendar page.  If you like, you could add some pumpkins or leaves amid the swirls.

Adhere the photo mats to the brown card stock as shown.  Cut out the "Harvest Time" block and the "Give Thanks" tag block. Adhere them as shown.  Apply adhesive to an orange leaf and apply to the bottom left corner of the "Give Thanks" tag block. Using double-sided adhesive tape, attach one of your metal quotes across part of the leaf and the bottom right of the tag. Adhere a yellow and brown leaf as shown at the bottom right corner of the photo mat on the left side of the page, and add a green and yellow leaf to the upper left corner of the photo mat on the right side of the page. (I know that was wordy...re-read if necessary!) Above the 4 leaves, center the "Thanksgiving Day" poem.  In the upper right portion of the brown card stock, add the "Harvest Time" block, making sure to leave enough space for the orange leaf to be placed in the upper left hand corner of the "Harvest Time" block.

Cut out the "November list", the "tree with pumpkins", "two girls with basket" and "give thanks quote" from your cut-aparts sheet. Cut out the entire stamp strip as one unit.  You may choose to cut the edges of the stamp block with your stamp scissors if you like.  I chose not to. Adhere all the cut pieces, photo mats and yellow leaves (from your kit), as shown.

Graphic 45 Calendar Place In Time Album Cover

For the album cover page for the Place in Time calendar, I selected the Fleur de Lys paper from Graphic 45's French Country Collection.  Attach the black fleur de lys 6 inch x 6 inch paper in the center of the large diamond print paper. Use the red photo corners from your sticker sheet in opposite corners. Adhere the chipboard lady in the center of the black paper, using double-sided tape. Place a black goosebump from your kit in the center of each photo corner and in the hole of the chipboard piece. I place the Place in Time sticker (2 pieces!) on a piece of chipboard to add dimension to the page. Adhere it as shown  near the top of the page.

October Calendar Pages Graphic 45 Place In Time

Here are the October calendar pages for the Graphic 45 Calendar class held at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

From your sheet of cut-outs, you will need the postcard and the cat tag. Use brown and black ink to antique the edges of the postcard.  Distress the edges of all papers with your scissors, then ink edges with black ink. Cut apart the Trick or Treat strip as shown.  Ink all edges. From your class kit,  ink edges of orange photo corner, and adhere to top left corner of postcard.  Add black button with orange floss from your class kit.  Layer eyelet border under left side of postcard and place hounds tooth paper under right side of postcard. Layer your cut apart Trick or Treat poem on top of hounds tooth paper, as shown. Add the orange brad from your kit to the chipboard tag of the girl and pumpkin.  Adhere using double-sided tape. Distress and ink edges of cat tag.  Punch out hole on cat tag. Thread orange and black ribbon through hole.

Nothing fancy here, just cut out the title from your cut-out sheets and adhere.  You could add some small leaves in the swirls or scatter them across spaces on your calendar that are blank.

This is the right hand page of a two-page spread.  Cut out your October tag and place it in the top left corner of your paper.  Cut out one of the purple stamps with your stamp scissors to cover up the word "October".  (Be sure to cut wide or your stamp will be too narrow to cover it up.)  Ink the edges of your orange mats with black ink.  This helps them to blend in to the black paper. (Be sure to place the mats with the brighter orange side up.  The reverse side has a peach tone and is not the Halloween orange we are looking for on this page.) Apply adhesive to the backs of your mats and position them in a stair step fashion as shown.  Cut out all of the elements shown from the cut out sheet.  Cut out the post card and flip it over.  Use the reverse side as mats for the boy and girl Halloween squares.  Cut out the stamps with your stamp scissors.  The border in the corner is made by cutting out the blue Halloween strip and adhering it to the back side of another title strip that we did not use.

For this page, you need to ink the edges of the orange photo mats (in your class kit) with black ink and adhere them in opposite corners of your black paper.  (Be sure to have the brighter side of the orange mat facing up.  The other side has a peach tone and is not the Halloween orange we want on this page.)  Cut out the purple and black border from your cut out sheet and adhere across the middle of your paper.  Adhere the collage elements from the cut out sheet as shown above.  The patterned papers are leftover tags from the cut out sheet that we do not use.  Just flip them over to add a little bit more texture and pattern to your page. Use your stamp scissors to cut out the stamps.  I apologize, I did not get the orange button for the tag into your class kit.  If you have an orange button or brad, you can add it.  Or if you don't have orange, black would be great, too.

For the cover page, I selected the Fleur de Lys paper from Graphic 45's French Country Collection.

Graphic 45 Place In Time Calendar Pages September

Here are the Graphic 45 Place In Time Calendar Pages for the September 2013 class at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

The cream and black little girl on the left side of "Autumn Time" is cut in a square shape from the postcard on the September cut-outs page..  Flip the postcard over and mat the little girl with the black alphabet print paper.  Use another piece of the black alphabet paper underneath the right side of "Autumn Time".  The boy and teacher at the bottom of the collage completes the "visual triangle" of black elements on the page.

Kept this one really simple.  You could add a flower or button in each one of the swirls if you want to jazz it up.

I freehand cut the "school days" tag because I liked the shape of the tag.  The boy and dog piece in the center is from your fall chipboard sheet.  I left the little pieces in the holes, but you could take them out if you want to add brads.

The plaid piece of paper under the letter stamps is the back side of the "one, two, buckle my shoe" border from the September cut-outs page.  Use your stamp scissors to trim the letters into that stamp shape.
