Page Right Directions:

Use red "Berrylicious" card stock by Bazzill® as the background for Page Right.

Attach a 12-inch piece of Maya Road® l pale green lace approximately 1.25 inches from the top of the page. Apply pop dots to the back of  "12 Months of Improvement" sign and position the left edge of the sign at the 6.25 inch across the page and .50 inch from the top of the page.

Use Memento® black ink and the scroll stamp from the "Bliss" stamp set by Stampin' Up!® to stamp 3 scroll images one next to each other starting at the left side of the red card stock.

Once you have stamped your 3 scroll images next to each other, attach a 12 inch long by .50 inch wide strip of cream floral paper at the top of the three scrolls.

Cut a frame from Stampin' Up!® "Pretty in Pink" card stock and attach it slightly overlapping the cream floral strip. Stamp a butterfly from the "Bliss" stamp set by Stampin' Up!® under the upper right corner of the frame, as shown. Use the Stampin' Up!® banner punch to punch out 4 cream floral banners and 3 yellow zigzag banners from scraps.  Attach each banner with a pop dot across the top of the frame.  Use double-sided tape to attach the "New Year New You" cameo in the center of the frame.

Attach the purple "Attempt the Absurd and You Will Achieve the Impossible" banner on top of the pink frame and cream floral card stock strip as shown.  Attach a scrap of leftover arrows approximately 4 inches wide underneath the purple banner.

Using "Pollen" card stock by Bazzill®, cut out a globe with the American Crafts® globe die.  Cut a clock face from "Shining Moment" paper by Webster's Pages® and center it on the globe.  Attach the completed embellishment as shown, setting the globe base on top of the /&/ symbol so that it is no longer visible but all the other words on the banner can be seen.

Mat the December calendar on a piece of "Jetstream" card stock by Bazzill® directly under the "12 Months of Improvement " sign and approximately .50 inches from the bottom of the page.

Ink the edges of the red card stock with white craft ink from Stampin' Up!®

I hope you have enjoyed 12 months of paper crafting with Webster's Pages®  "New Year New You" Collection.  May your 2015 be wonderful and full of blessings from God.  In His Love, Kim.

Webster's Pages New Year New You November Calendar Pages

These are the November pages for the Webster's Pages® New Year New You calendar class held at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

Page Left

We will use "Jetstream" by Bazzill® as our background for the page.  From your SCRAPS of leftover "Doilies" paper, cut out six doilies that measure 2" in diameter and one doily that measures 2.5" in diameter. DO NOT CUT THE DOILIES FROM THE FULL SHEET THAT IS IN YOUR KIT! Adhere pop dots to the backs of the doilies and adhere across the top of the page to make a border.  Apply a pearl to the center of each of the 2" doilies.  Use double-sided tape to adhere the floral cameo with blue border to the 2.5" doily.

Using Anna Griffin's Cricut® Cuttlebug® Cut and Emboss "Flourish Emblem" die, cut out the lace mat from "Pretty in Pink" card stock by Stampin' Up!®.  Apply adhesive to the back and adhere the lace mat in the center of the remainder of the page.  Cut a piece of the cream floral paper 4" wide x 5" high.  Apply pop dots to the back and adhere on top of the lace mat. Cut out a green* frame with the "Top Note" die by Sizzix® for Stampin' Up!®. Apply pop dots and adhere on top of the cream floral rectangle. Cut out the quote: "With hard work you can do and be anything your mind desires. Be your best." Apply pop dots on the back of the quote. Adhere on top of the green* frame. Apply a pearl in each corner of the pink lace mat, as shown.

Page Right

We are using the "Doilies" paper as the background for this page.  Cut a 1.75" high by 12" wide strip of "Sweet Summertime" by Crystal Wilkerson for Echo Park®.  Apply adhesive to the back and adhere approximately 2.5" from the top of the page.  Cut out a yellow zig zag frame using the "Top Note" die.  Apply pop dots and adhere in the center of the plaid strip. Mat the November calendar with green* paper. Apply pop dots and adhere on top of yellow zig zag frame.

* I raided my paper stash to find just the right color green card stock to match this line of papers. Unfortunately, I do not know who produced the paper. Sorry for the inconvenience.

New Year New You Webster's Pages October Calendar Pages

The following are the instructions for creating the October calendar pages for the Webster's Pages® "New Year New You" calendar class held at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

Page Left

Use the green print on the reverse side of the Webster's Pages® New Year New You "bucket print" paper as the page background.

Approximately 1/3 of the way from the top of the page, attach a piece of Karen Foster Design ® "Pastel Pink Scrapper's Floss" to the background paper for your banner. (I taped the two ends onto the back side of the background paper. Give the floss enough slack for a gentle, natural curve.)

Apply adhesive onto the back of the October calendar and mat it onto a piece of "Pinkini". Set aside.

Using your Sizzix® Big Shot® and the smallest banner from Stampin' Up!® banner framelet collection, cut two banners from "Pinkini". Using the next larger size banner, cut two banners that match the background paper. Using the next larger size banner, cut two banners from "Pinkini".  Layer the banners one on top of the other as shown.  Attach the banners to the bottom side of the matted October calendar as shown. Apply adhesive to the right, left, and bottom of the matted calendar, but leave the top of the calendar free from adhesive. This will create a pocket for you to add journaling notes and/or photos. Center this piece in the middle of the pink twine.

From "Pinkini", die cut a doily using a mini doily die from My Favorite Things®. Fold it in half and attach as shown.

Punch out eight pennants with Stampin' Up!® pennant punch by EK Success®. I used SU "Old Olive" for 4 pennants;  Bazzill® "Pinkini" for 2 pennants; and Webster's Pages® floral print for 2 pennants.  Apply a mini Glue Dot® to the back of each pennant and adhere on top of the pink twine as shown.

Page Right

Use Bazzill® "Pinkini" as the background for this page.

Punch out 3 butterflies using Bazzill® "Pinkini"; 3 butterflies using Bazzill® "Pollen"; and 2 butterflies using blue SU that matches your label. Run all the butterflies through your Xyron®. Remove the clear cover but leave the butterflies on the waxed paper. Apply "Icicle" Stickles™ by Ranger to the butterflies and allow to dry.

As shown, cut apart the quote "Life is a journey that gives you the liberty to draw your own map and choose your own route." Run all these pieces through your Xyron®. Adhere the word "life" to the label punched from blue card stock.  (It is Stampin' Up!®, but I don't know the name.) Mat the words "is" and "a" on some of the green paper that remains after you cut apart your quote. Set the words aside.

Use the clouds die from My Favorite Things to cut out three white clouds. Use a sponge dauber to ink the clouds with ColorBox® "True Blue" pigment ink. (You may want to practice on a scrap piece of paper to determine the right amount of ink and pressure to use to achieve the look you want on your clouds). Apply a small amount of the Stickles™ on the clouds and swirl it around with your finger.  Set aside and allow to dry.

Cut a piece of blue card stock (that matches your label and butterflies) to 5.5"wide x 5.75" high. Using the tree and leaf stamps from Stampin' Up!® "Season of Friendship" stamp set, stamp a tree onto the blue card stock that matches your blue label and butterflies. Use SU "Baked Brown Sugar" ink for the tree trunk and SU "Pear Pizzazz" ink for the leaves. You may stamp as many or as few leaves as you like. The fullness of your tree is up to you. (Just know that more leaves will result in more work a little later!) Place your tree on top of the Sizzix® "Frame, Oval Scallop" die. Be sure to position your paper at an angle so that your tree will fit inside the oval shape. (You should not be able to see any of the design showing on the parts of the die that are not covered by paper.) Run through your Sizzix® Big Shot®. It is okay to have some leaves or part of the tree trunk on your scalloped frame; this is not a mistake. Apply adhesive to the back of the oval and attach it flat against the upper right portion of the "Pinkini" background, as shown. (Be sure to leave space for the scalloped frame!) Apply pop dots on the back side of the scalloped frame and then place it around the tree in the oval. Use the "Icicle" Stickles™ on the leaves of the tree. Be sure to apply Stickles™ to the leaves on the frame, too. Allow to dry.

When all of your pieces are dry, assemble the page as shown.

New Year New You Webster's Pages September 2014 Calendar Pages

These are the September 2014 calendar pages for the New Year New You class held at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

Page Left

We will be using "Frosted Kiwi" by Bazzill® as the background for this page. Approximately 2.5 inches from the top of the page, adhere the striped border pieces which are in your kit. (There will be a gap in the center of your page, but it will be covered up by the large label we are going to cut out next.)

Using the largest framelit from Stampin' Up!®'s "Labels" collection, cut a label from Bazzill®'s "Passionate" card stock. Use Stampin' Up!® white craft ink to give the label a chalky look. Center the September "New Year New You" (Webster's Pages®) calendar in the middle of the label. Use Kaisercraft® "Antique Rose" rhinestones to embellish the edge of the label as shown, using the largest and smallest rhinestones from the pack. Add some pop dots to the back of the label and adhere in the center of the two striped pages.

Using "Old Olive" card stock (Stampin' Up!®) and the Bigz ™ Tulip die (by Sizzix® for Stampin' Up!®), cut out two sets of the tulip design. Set aside all pieces except for the two fleur de lys shapes.  Adhere one on either side of the label, angling them and embellishing as shown.

Using "Passionate" card stock and all five "Floral Frames" (by Sizzix® for Stampin' Up!®), we are going to make a layered flower for the page.  Nest all five dies within each other and run through your Sizzix® Big Shot™ die-cutting machine. You will end up with five flower layers.  Use the white craft ink to give the flowers a chalky look like you did on the label. Adhere pop dots on the backs of all the flower layers. Beginning with biggest layer, adhere to the center of the page underneath the label. Then add the next biggest layer, turning it so that it is not a perfect fit within the largest layer, but slightly offset so you can see the "Frosted Kiwi" paper peeking through. Continue with the remaining three layers, remembering to offset each layer.

Go back to the tulip design pieces you set aside earlier. Find the two tulip-shaped pieces. Adhere pop dots to the back and attach on either side of the flower. Find your scroll pieces and place them on either side of the tulips, taking note of the right side of each scroll. Place the scrolls right side up in your Xyron®, along with the two large dots and four small dots. Run all through the Xyron® and adhere as shown.

Cut four more small flower shapes from "Passionate" card stock. Layer two flowers together using a pop dot between them, and adhere to the other side of the tulip design.

Embellish the large flower, tulips, scrolls, and small flowers with the rhinestones as shown.

Page Right

We will be using "Path of Happiness" from Webster's Pages® "New Year New You" collection as the background for this page.

Adhere the large quote "You Never Know How Strong You Are And Your Strength Will Keep You Going" to the center of the page.

Add the following small quotes as shown:

Illuminate
I Am Strong
We Are Born to Shimmer
A Sparkle of Strength
Glow
We Are Stronger Than We Realize

Embellish the four corners of the large quote and the ends of each small quote with rhinestones, as shown.

I hope September was blessed and that October will be wonderful! Stay strong on your journey to a new you!

New Year New You August Calendar Pages

These are the August calendar pages for the Webster's Pages® "New Year New You" calendar class at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

Doilies are a popular theme in this line of papers, so we are going to have fun with doilies this month!

Page Left

We will be using the reverse side of "Mark It On The Calendar" paper as our background for this page.

To make the large yellow doily that is shown, use "Pollen" card stock by Bazzill® and use the "Tatted Doily" Lucky8Punch® by We R Memory Keepers®.  Make sure the outer and inner cut options on the "Tatted Doily" punch are set to "on" to get the combined version, which makes the doily. Line up one corner of your paper in the punch. Push the lever down to punch the design. Then remove the paper and any debris that may be caught in the punch. Rotate the paper clockwise 90 degrees and repeat until you have punched out 4 corners. Remember to empty the punch.  Flip the paper over, and repeat on all 4 sides.  Adhere doily in the center of the background page.

Use the EK Success® small five-petal flower punch and Stampin' Up!® "Real Red" card stock to punch out 12 flowers to place within the inner border of the doily, as shown.  Then punch the small pink flowers from "Pinkini" card stock by Bazzill®, using the "Daisy Chain" punch by EK Success®. Cut the flowers apart from one another and place one in the center of each red flower.

Use a 4-inch round white doily and stamp it with Stampin' Up!® "Strawberry Slush" stamp pad until the doily is saturated with color.  I recommend doing this on a scrap piece of card stock or chipboard to prevent excess ink from being stamped onto your work area. Once the doily is dry, adhere it in the center of the yellow doily, and then attach the August calendar on top of the red doily.

Page Right

We will be using "Passionate" by Bazzill® as the background for this page.

Stamp two doilies onto white card stock using the Stampin' Up!® "Doily" stamp and "Strawberry Slush" ink.  ***Ink the stamp while it is rubber side up and then place your white card stock on top, rubbing over all parts of the rubber. This will help you to get the full image.***. Once you have stamped the two doilies, fussy cut them both out of the card stock,  as close to the stamped image as possible. Adhere one of the stamped doilies in the upper left corner of the "Passionate" card stock. Adhere the other in the lower right corner. Adhere green leaves, a pale yellow flower and a pink Twinkle Goosebump®  by Queen and Co.® to the center of each stamped doily.

Adhere a 4-inch round white doily in the other two corners.  Adhere the saying " Not Afraid To Change" on top of the white doily in the lower left corner of the page.  To the doily in the upper right corner, adhere the saying "The Best Dreams Happen When You Are Awake".

To provide a place for notes about the month, we are going to turn the "Believe You Can And You Will" sign into a pocket. Set the sign in front of you, right side up. Turn it over to the back side, making sure you know where the top of the sign is.  Run 1/4-inch double-sided tape along the very edge of the two long sides and the bottom of the sign.  Pull off the tape liners, and adhere firmly in the middle of your page.  This pocket is the perfect size for an office tag or two so you can write down the special events of August.

I hope August was wonderful!  See you in September!

New Year New You Webster's Pages July 2014

These are the July pages for the Webster's Pages© "New Year New You" Calendar Class that is held monthly at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

July Page Left

"Pollen" yellow by American Crafts© and the "Kite" print from the "New Year New You" collection by Webster's Pages© will be the backgrounds for both pages this month. Cut the SKU strip off the bottom of the pages. Then cut each paper in half (6" wide x 12" high). The "Kite" paper will be on the "out"-side of each scrapbook page, and the "Pollen" yellow will be on the "in"-side of each scrapbook page. Attach to the back of last month's page to make the July Left Page.

Using the Die-Namics "Cloud Trio" cutting die from My Favorite Things©, cut out three clouds from white card stock and three clouds from "Soft Sky" blue card stock (Stampin' Up!©) with your die cutting machine. Place only the white clouds in the "Hounds-tooth" embossing folder (by Sizzix© for Stampin' Up!©) and run through the embossing machine. After you have embossed the white clouds, you will use pop dots in between the blue "shadow" layers and the embossed clouds to give the clouds height and dimension on your page. You want the largest cloud to appear to be the biggest and nearest to you, so it needs thicker pop dots than the medium and small size clouds do. They need to appear farther away, so you need to use thinner pop dots in between the cloud layer and the blue "shadow" layer. Be sure to match up your embossed clouds with their "shadows" and offset the blue "shadow" layers slightly.

We will use the Die-Namics "Jumbo Kite" die from My Favorite Things© to create a kite to play off the "Kite" paper. Cut the kite base, string, and bows from "Passionate" paper by American Crafts©. Cut the kite segments from "A New Year A New You" paper scraps. Run the kite segments, bows, and kite string through the Xyron©. Adhere the segments to the kite base. Attach kite string, kite, and bows as shown. Add a clear rhinestone to the center of each bow.

July Page Right

For the right page of this layout, we are going to adhere the "Pollen" and "Kite" patterns to the "Mark it on the calendar" page. (The brocade print will be the base for August's left page.)

On the "Pollen" section of the page, we are going to add the calendar for July. Mat the calendar on a piece of "Passionate" card stock by American Crafts© and adhere.

Emboss two blank white tags from The Paper Studio© in the "Floral Frame" Texture Fades Embossing Folder by Tim Holtz Alterations©.  Emboss the design on the right side of the tag only by placing your tag in the bottom right of the embossing folder. When you close the embossing folder, check to see that you like the placement of the embossing on the tag. Run through your embossing machine. Add sheer yellow ribbon from Oriental Trading Company© to each tag.

Attach the yellow "doily print" bag to the page as shown. Attach the "mini photographs" bag on top of the other bag. Cut out the large yellow doily from your doily paper and cover up the "mini photographs" label. Slide your tags into the bags as a place to write highlights of July.

New Year New You Webster's Pages June 2014

These are the June pages for the Webster's Pages© "New Year New You" Calendar Class that is held monthly at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

June Page Left

"Frosted Kiwi" by Bazzill©  will be our background for this page.

We are going to make a pocket that can be used as a place to tuck away photos, ticket stubs, or notes about the month. In order to do that, we will cut the "A New You" (bicycle paper/floral print) on the diagonal, making two equally sized triangles. First of all, cut off the bar code strip from the bottom of the paper. Using a rotary cutting tool, ruler, and mat, OR a guillotine cutter, cut the sheet diagonally from point to point.

Set aside one triangle to be used on a different project.

On the remaining triangle, apply double-sided tape on the two straight edges of the bicycle side of the paper. DO NOT apply tape to the diagonal edge.

Remove the backing from the double-sided tape. Turn the paper over so that the floral print is face up. Align the triangle in the lower left corner of the "Frosted Kiwi" paper, and press firmly on the straight edges. This will make a "pocket" with the opening on the diagonal.

Apply double-sided tape along the diagonal edge of the floral print side of the paper.  Attach pink ruffle ribbon.

Using Stampin' Up!© "Labels" framelet, cut a label from "Passionate" card stock (by Bazzill©).  Attach the June calendar in the center of the label.  Attach in upper right of the page ("Frosted Kiwi" portion). Adhere rhinestones on the label as shown.

Using "London Fog" ink by Memento©, stamp the "Monarch Butterfly" (Stampin' Up!©) onto a piece of white card stock. Color the entire butterfly with Copic© YG03, "Yellow Green". Highlight the shaded areas with Copic© G14, "Apple Green". Blend with "Yellow Green".

Cut out the butterfly. Do not worry about the antennae. Lightly apply silver Smooch© on shaded areas of butterfly wings and body. Allow Smooch© to dry. Attach a green glitter brad to the top of the butterfly's body. Wrap wire around the legs of the brad, then fold brads down over wire to hold it in place. Fashion a pair of antennae from green wire. Apply pop dote on back side of the butterfly.  Attach the butterfly in the center of the floral pocket.

June Page Right

We will be using the "floral frame" side of "Do Your Best" as the page background.

Using Memento© ink in "London Fog", stamp two of the rose image from "Fifth Avenue Floral" stamp set (Stampin' Up!©) onto a piece of white card stock. Using the same ink, stamp three rose leaf images onto white card stock.

Color all three of the leaves with Copic© YG03, "Yellow Green" as the base color. Highlight the stem and veins of each leaf with Copic© G14, "Apple Green". Blend "Yellow Green" over each leaf. Lightly apply silver Smooch© on veins and stems of each leaf.

Color the first rose using Copic© Y21 "Buttercup Yellow" as the base color.  Highlight with Copic© RV11, "Pink". Blend with Copic© Y13, "Lemon Yellow".

Color the second rose using Copic© RV11, "Pink" as the base color. Highlight with Copic© R29 "Lipstick Red". Blend with Copic© R85, "Rose Red". Lightly apply silver smooch near highlighted areas. Allow smooch to dry, or smudge with your finger.

Cut out all roses and leaves. Attach pop dots on the backs of the roses. Use regular adhesive on the leaves. Adhere in the top center of the page.

Apply rhinestones to center of roses.

May Webster's Pages New Year New You Calendar Pages

These are the pages for May Webster's Pages New Year New You Calendar Class that is offered monthly at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington Illinois.

May Page Left:

May Page Left

We will be using the reverse side of the April page right as the background for this page.

Cut a 12" x 12" piece of Bazzill© "Pinkini" in half vertically.  Attach one of the pieces to the left side of the "Passion" pink card stock. From the other piece, use the "Daisy Chain" punch from EK Success© to make a border. Punch along the longer side of the pink piece, as you will attach the daisy border vertically next to the light pink half of the page. (You may want to run the border through your Xyron© to make applying adhesive easy.)

To Make Pinwheels:

Cut a 2" x  2" square of paper with a print on both sides.
Fold square diagonally to make a triangle.
Then open the square up and make a diagonal fold in the opposite direction.
Cut along each fold mark about 2/3 of the way to the center point.
Fold every other cut section in to the center of the square.
When all four sections are folded in, use a paper piercer to make a hole in the center of the pinwheel.
Insert a brad to complete the pinwheel.

Make three pinwheels for this page.

To Make Stems for Pinwheel Flowers:

From two sheets of the bucket-patterned paper, cut off the green border edge. Leave one at the original 9" length.  Cut the other green border edge into two pieces, one 6" long and the other 3" long.

Attach flowers on "Pinkini" half of the page, placing the 9"stem closer to the outer edge and attaching a pinwheel on top of the stem. Repeat with 6" stem and pinwheel in the middle and then the 3" stem and pinwheel.

Calendar:

Using a piece of "Passion" pink, make a mat for the May calendar. Using the green print on the reverse side of the bucket-patterned paper, make another mat.  Use a pink clip at the top of the May calendar.  Attach in the center of the "Passion" half of the page.

Butterflies:

Using lacy pink doilies from the doily prints, punch out 4 butterflies. Using the leftover "Pinkini" paper, punch out 6 pink butterflies.  Run all the butterflies through your Xyron. Adhere 1 lace butterfly above the second pinwheel flower, angling wings slightly to the right.

Adhere the other three lace butterflies above the May calendar in a triangle formation, with one butterfly at the top, and the other two butterflies slightly below, with wings pointed out.

Below the calendar,  adhere three pink butterflies interspersed with the words:  motivation, perspective, happiness, and endurance.  (The three remaining butterflies will be used on the next page).

Adhere a pink rhinestone to the center of each butterfly's body.

May Page Right:

May Page Right

We are going to use the green floral print as our background for this page.

From the reverse side of the "doors" paper, we are going to cut a piece of blue "notebook" paper 7" long x 6" wide. Adhere in the center of the page.

Use the yellow zigzag print to mat the "Never Forget To Follow Your Dreams Even If You Need To Chase Them Down" quote. Punch out three photo corners from the zigzag print. Run the photo corners through your Xyron. Adhere a photo corner on the top two corners and the lower left corner of the notebook paper. Adhere the matted "Dreams" quote at the bottom right corner of the notebook paper.

Adhere one pink butterfly on top of the upper left photo corner, with wings angled up and to the left. Adhere another pink butterfly to the top right corner of the "Dreams" quote, with wings angled up and to the right. Add the last pink butterfly at the junction of the "Dreams" quote and the notebook paper, with wings angled up and to the left.

Add a pink rhinestone to the center of each butterfly's body.

New Year New You Webster's Pages April 2014

Here is the April layout for the Webster's Pages New Year New You calendar class held at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

April Page Left

We will be using the back side of March's "Mark it on the calendar page" as the background for the April calendar page.

From your trims pack, get out the fuchsia velvet ribbon. You may need to remove some of the remainder of the cut outs from the design. Once you have removed all the remainder pieces, cut the ribbon at 12 inches long.   Adhere .05 inch wide double-sided tape to the back of the ribbon on the solid portion of the ribbon. Position the ribbon, with the  SCALLOPED SIDE UP,  approximately .05 inches below the top of the page.

Find the title block that says "No Time To Waste This Is The Moment To Do Things Right". Adhere a piece of .05 inch wide double-sided tape across the top back side of the title block. Use double-sided foam tape or pop dots across the bottom of the title to elevate the bottom of the title block. Remove the backings from the tape and foam/pop dots. Being sure to leave the scalloped edge and floral design showing, carefully and precisely center the title block on top of the solid portion of the ribbon. (The adhesive will pull the velvet off from your ribbon, so you must be careful and precise while doing this.)

Using double-sided adhesive, attach the red-rimmed floral cameo directly under "This Is The Moment". This forms the bottom of a visual triangle that will draw the eye down into the page.

From your calendar page, cut out the April calendar. If you wish, fussy cut around the flowers at the top of the calendar.  Mat the calendar on a piece of the yellow zig zag print that remains from your "A New Year A New You" paper.

Next we are going to make ribbon photo corners. From the remainder of your fuchsia velvet ribbon, cut two pieces of ribbon that are each 2.25 inches long.  Position ribbon in front of you with right side of the ribbon face down on the table and scalloped side of ribbon facing up. Fold bottom left side of ribbon up to just underneath the scallop design. Then fold the bottom right side  of the ribbon up to just underneath the scallop design, making sure the two edges of the ribbon butt up to each other. Use a small piece of double sided tape across the width of the seam to adhere the ribbon together in the back.

On the back side of the matted calendar, place a pot dot on the upper left corner and the lower right corner. Remove backing from upper right pop dot and slide into velvet floral corner. BE SURE THAT THE CALENDAR DATES ARE VISIBLE BEFORE SECURING THE POP DOT AND PHOTO CORNER TOGETHER. Then push the back side of the photo corner into the pop dot to adhere them together. Repeat in lower left corner.

Carefully lift the front of the photo corner and put just a small amount of adhesive on the front of the calendar. Push the top of the photo corner into the adhesive to make it lay a little more flat.

Apply adhesive to the back side of the calendar and remove the double-sided tape liner from the backs of the photo corners.  Center and adhere approximately 1.5 inches below the bottom of the cameo.

April Page Right

Use "Passionate" (dark pink) card stock by Bazzill© as page background.

Cut a 1 inch wide strip From Bazzill©  "Pollen" (yellow) card stock. Make a border using Sizzix© Hello Kitty© "Scallops"Die.  Remove any remainder. Cut the strip between the 8th and 9th scallop. Emboss both pieces with Cuttlebug© "Dots" embossing folder. Butt each end up to the edge of the page, scalloped size up, approximately 0.75 inch from top of page. There will be a small gap in the center of the page. Place the "Today" sign in the center of the page to cover the gap. Place a green pearl over the three little dots on either side of "Today".

Make a tag to fit inside the mint green and floral mini paper bag.
Start with a white tag 4&1/4 inches long by 2&1/8 inches wide
Emboss the tag with the Darice© butterfly embossing folder.
Cut apart the "Be Youtiful" tag as follows:  fussy cut the butterfly and the word "you" from the tag, being careful to preserve the letter blocks "be", "ti", and "ful". Mount each of the three letter blocks on scrap of Bazzill© "Frosted Teal" card stock and attach to tag as shown. (I chose  to cut apart the pennant that said "faith" using the red /t/ and /i/ to add more color to the tag.) Ink edge of tag with the brush end of Stampin' Up!© "Strawberry Slush" marker.

Make a tag to fit inside kelly green and floral mini paper bag.
Start with a white tag 4&1/4 inches long by 2&1/8 inches wide
Emboss the tag with the Darice© butterfly embossing folder.
Edge with Stampin' Up! © "Garden Green" marker.
Cut apart the "Shine & Sparkle" pennant.
Attach as shown.
From a kelly green doily, punch out a butterfly.
Attach as shown,
Use Smooch© "Illuminate" Pearlized Top Coat to trace letters and ampersand. Also paint butterfly's wing with it.

Attach a lacy pink doily to the center of the yellow and passion pink brocade mini paper bag with a pop dot. Put a green pearl in the center of the doily. Put blank tags in the bag. Use them to write down important things from the month of April. I chose to use the "A Revelation" pennant across the blank space, but if you choose to write the month or something else meaningful to you, that is fine.

Attach the bags and tags as shown.

New Year New You Webster's Pages March 2014

Here is the calendar layout for Webster's Pages New Year New You March class at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

March (Page Left)

Use Bazzill© "Frosted Kiwi" card stock as the page base
Cut out "the journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step" sign
Cut between "the journey" and "of a thousand"
Cut "begins" and "with" into small rectangles
Cut out "just one step" following the ticket shape
️Using  Sizzix© alphabet letters, cut out the letters for "miles", run through the Xyron©
Using a pink clip, slide it on the top of "the journey"
Adhere cut apart pieces down the left side of the pages as shown

From the "Mark it on the Calendar" sheet you have already used, cut out the green label and set aside for the right page

From the same paper, cut a rectangle of notebook paper approximately 4 inches wide by 7.25 inches long. Adhere to the "Frosted Kiwi" paper approximately 0.75 inches away from the /s/ in the word "miles" and approximately 3.25 inches from the top of the page.

Using the smoky blue floral strip on the bottom of "The Path of Happiness" (smoky blue back ground paper,) score it at .25 inch intervals. Fold accordion style on each score mark. Cut into 1 inch, 2 inch, and 4.5inch sections. (There will be 1.5 inch remaining; save for another project!) Adhere the segments to notebook paper as shown.

Make a mat for the March calendar with a scrap of "The Path of Happiness" paper 3.25 inches long by 4.5 inches wide. Adhere the calendar to the mat. Cut out "Your Journey Begins Here" pennant and clip to bottom of calendar with a blue "@" clip. Adhere to page as shown.

Use a 1.5 inch wide Gluber© and a 15 inch piece of ribbon to make the ribbon flower embellishment. Peel one piece of protective covering off from Gluber©. Tie a knot as close to the end of the piece of ribbon as you can. Carefully snip off any excess ribbon at the base of the knot. Push the knot down into the center of the Gluber©. Begin twisting the ribbon around the knot (which will be the center of your flower), making sure to push the ribbon firmly into the Gluber© after each twist. Continue until you have used all the ribbon or run out of Gluber©. Peel off backing from Gluber© and adhere to top of calendar.

 March (Page Right)

Use the "Mark it on the Calendar" paper as the base for the right page of this spread. Using pop dots on the the back side of the "Mark it on the Calendar" label you cut out previously, adhere it on top of the printed portion on the base paper.

Cut out the pennants I have used or cut out 8 pennants of your choice. The ones I used include:

Renew
Experiment with Inspiration
Transform
Reach
Strive for Exploration
Be A Visionary
Focus
Growth

Adhere at angles as shown down left side of page.  The remainder of the page on the right side can be used to journal your thoughts about the month of March.

Cut out "This Way➡️" title and adhere at bottom of page as shown.

New Year New You Webster's Pages February 2014

These are the pages for Webster's Pages "New Year New You" February Class at The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois.

Bucket List Page (page right next to January calendar page)

Bucket List

Directions:

You will need both "bucket list" papers in your kit. From one paper you will fussy cut the red bucket with white rose and the yellow bucket with white rose. Also from that paper, fussy cut the tall yellow bucket and all the flowers and leaves from the bottom of bucket list paper.

Using pop dots, attach all three buckets on top of printed images on the page you left whole.  (**TIP**  if the pop dots you use have lots of waste in between the dots, you can use that waste. Just cut the amount you need to fit the embellishment, peel away the backing, and you just got extra oomph for free!)

Next, you will add the flowers to the bottom of the page. In order to make it easier to adhere the smaller flowers and leaves, run them through the xyron. Attach leaves and small flowers first, then use pop dots to attach large red and yellow flowers. This will add dimension and depth.

February Doors Page (page left)

February Calendar and Doors Closed
February Calendar and Doors Open

Directions:

Cut blue card stock  (from February kit) to 7.5 inches wide
Adhere to right hand side of doors paper (which is the back of our bucket list page)

Cut out Feb calendar
Mat onto leftover  "Today is the start" paper. Avoid the "mark it on the calendar" sign that is on the reverse of the paper.
Center on paper doily.
Attach piece to top center of blue section of page.

Using the reverse side of remainder of the "bucket list" paper, we are going to cut out some doors.

Cut out the green door with the 8-panel over 4 panel door.
Run the door through the xyron. Rub well, then set aside.
From the remainder of the blue card stock, cut a piece that is 2.25 inches wide.
Score the blue piece at  1 and 1/8 inches wide.
Fold blue paper in half, with flat side of paper inside.
Remove green door from xyron  rub and peel liner.
Attach green door on top of folded blue card stock.
Attach back of blue card stock on base page over the matching green door.
You now have a hinged door on which you can write a goal, a dream, a message to yourself.

Cut out the big red door with flowers. Cut straight on the sides of the door: don't worry about the flowers.
From the blue card stock, cut a piece 3.5 inches wide. Score at 1.75 inches, folding smooth side of card stock towards inside.
Attach red door on top of folded card stock.
Cut off excess blue card stock and fussy cut around flowers on top of the door.
Attach back of blue card stock on base page on top of matching door.

Cut out small door with bird on top.
Cut blue card stock 1.75inches wide.
Score blue card stock at a little more than .75 inches.
Fold smooth side of card stock to inside.
Attach small door with bird on top of folded card stock.
Attach back of blue card stock on base page on top of matching door.

Place a message behind each of your doors. You can write your own message or use the words "smile", "love is all we need", "believe in your dreams" from Mini Messages Word Stickers.

Adhere blue rick rack along seam of blue card stock and doors paper.
Using price strip from "today is the start paper", cut an 8 inch strip and attach across bottom of blue card stock.
From pennants paper, cut out "trust where your heart leads you" and adhere slightly overlapping patterned paper.

February New Chapters (page right)

New Chapters
Directions:

From reverse side of "Path of Happiness" (smoky blue paper with floral print), cut out the square with two doors and the words "new chapters".

Cut away the grass.  Then re-attach the grass to the bottom of the doors.  This will add a little depth and dimension.  Attach to the pink card card stock in your kit. Set aside.

Fussy  cut  5 doilies from the doily paper leftovers.

Score each doily in the center. Fold the doily in two. Decide which side you like best. Cut off any excess overlap. Do this for all 5 doilies.

Using twine provided in your kit, you will make a banner with the scored doilies. Leaving a tail of about 2 inches, place fold of doily over the twine, then adhere bottom insides of doily together. Do this for all 5 doilies.

When you have all you doilies in place, string one large button from your kit on each end of twine, and tie in a double knot. Using glue dots, attach buttons to top portion of background paper (reverse side of kite paper). Cut off excess twine, but don't cut off your knotted ends.

Attach the four small buttons in between the doilies. Use glue dots.

Attach the "new chapters (doors) embellishment centered underneath the banner. This will leave you room for photos, memorabilia, etc.

New Year New You Webster's Pages January 2014

To celebrate the New Year of 2014, The Paper Forest Scrapbook Boutique in Washington, Illinois, is offering a once-a-month class that focuses on celebrating you.  So many times as scrapbook creators, we focus on others. New Year New You is a 12 inch by 12 inch scrapbook that will focus on you.

New Year New You Cover
Cover Page New Year New You

You will need both papers titled " a new you".  They have a yellow zigzag background with a bike and flowers on the front.

One of these papers is the base for your cover. Since the chipboard we are using is 12 x 12.75 inches, we are going to cover that price strip to lengthen the page so that it fits on top of the chipboard. So do not cut the price strip off one of your pages.

From the other "New you" paper, flip to the floral side and cut a strip .75 inches by 12 inches from the top of the paper ; the top being furthest away from that price strip. Flip the paper back over to the side with the bicycle. Cut out the "a new year a new you" sign and the center portion of the red flower and the pink flower.  We are going to layer the cut outs on top of the printed parts of the base page to add dimension. Adhere the floral strip on top of the price strip.

From the "be inspired" page cut out 5 of the banner statements to place in the area above the bike.  Arrange them to your liking, keeping in mind that you want a variety of sizes to create visually pleasing arrangement.  Cut two smaller banners to layer across the bottom right portion of the "new year new you" sign.

Adhere the finished page to your chipboard.  You can use double sided tape, adhesive runner, mod podge, whatever adhesive you like.

Resolutions Page

Find both "Resolutions" papers in your kit.  One of these is the base for this page.  It will be the first page you see when you open your album.

Find the "Life is a journey" papers in your kit. ( There are doilies on the reverse side.) From both papers, cut off the price code strip.  Then cut off the designers name. You will have two strips that are both 9.5 inches long. Set those aside.

From the "Today is the start" paper, you are going to cut a 1 inch by 12 inch strip. Cut at the bottom of the paper near the price strip, because we want to save the "mark it on the calendar" sign that is on the reverse of the paper.

Once you have your strips cut, adhere the 12x1 inch strip across the center of the paper with the tapestry print side facing up. Then place one of the 9.5 inch strips above and place one below the tapestry strip, with the doily side up.

From the From the "Doilies" paper, cut out 4 doilies that are about the same size, but 4 different colors.

Choose a sentiment from the "Life is a journey" paper.  Arrange the doilies under the sentiment, with one doily on each side, sort of in a cross formation.

January Calendar (Left Page)

January page left

From your monthly kit, take out the solid light yellow paper and the bucket paper.  Cut the bucket paper 5.5 inches wide by 12 inches long.  Be sure to cut the paper lengthwise.  We are going to adhere the bucket paper on left side of the light yellow paper.  This will allow some space for you to journal during January.

Using the back side of your other "Resolutions" paper in the kit, cut out the January calendar. Make a mat for the calendar using some of the yellow zig zag print that is left over from the paper with the bike that we used for the front cover.  Adhere the matted calendar approximately 2.75 inches from the top of the base page. Adhere e green and pink "new year new you" cameo with double sided tape at the bottom of the calendar.
