Day 185: Sailing Card

I made this card using scraps from my scrap basket.  The globe and travel log background was from a previous card project, as was the boat stamped on glossy white paper.  I sponged the glossy paper with blue ink, layered both pieces onto a piece of blue card stock and added a postage stamp of a sailboat that was also in my scrap basket.  All papers, inks, and stamps by Stampin' Up!

Day 184: Hat on Bench Card

The top note label was in my scrap basket, as was this bench with hat.  I layered both of them onto a piece of pink card stock to make a very feminine card.

Day 183: Flowers and Gingham Card

I had this stamped and water-colored border in my scrap basket, added a gingham ribbon, and layered it onto pink card stock.  There is plenty of room left to stamp a sentiment such as "happy birthday" in the lower right corner when I decide who will receive it and for what occasion. Stamps, watercolors, and papers all by Stampin' Up!

Day 181: Owl Card

For a while, my stamp club was making ATC size minis to trade and to be made into larger cards.  Someone in the group made this owl from punches.  It was in my scrap basket to eventually be turned into a card.  I reclaimed the moons and stars image from a Halloween project that had also made its way into my scrap basket.

Day 180: Butterflies Card

The embossed and glittered butterfly was from a demonstration I attended when I went to the Stamp Scrap Art Tour.  I believe it is from Just For Fun, but I am not certain.  I had this purple oval die cut in my scrap basket, so I fussy cut the butterfly out and layered it onto the purple oval, and then layered both onto pink card stock. I added a few punched butterflies and some pretty trim to make this a beautiful card.

Day 179: Planned Cards from Bits and Pieces

We are getting ready to go on a trip for the 4th of July, and I wanted to bring some things with me to work on.  I decided to go through my scrap basket and find bits and pieces that would work together to make cards.  I planned out cards for the 6 days we will be gone, with the only things not coming from my scrap basket being the card bases and ribbon.  Keep reading to see what I make from scraps from my scrap basket!
